Specifications: Many ultra-portable laptops today achieve their small size by giving up many features (such as a DVD drive, small hard drive etc). The Asus UL80Vt-A1 is a new ultra slim 14.1-inch laptop that is affordable and has all the features of a regular laptop.
It comes with an Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor (1.3Ghz), 4GB of RAM and a 320GB (5400RPM) hard drive. This model also has a DVD drive, which is quite rare among ultra-portable models. For graphics rendering, this laptop has the GraphiX Boost feature that switch between the Intel GMA 4500MHD and the powerful NVIDIA G210M graphics card for optimal and energy-efficient graphics performance. For display, it has a 14-inch LED back-lit HD screen (1266 x 768 resolution). Some of the other great features include a pair of SRS Premium Altec Lansing Stereo speakers, 3 USB ports, a HDMI output, a web cam and 802.11b/g/n wi-fi.

This video shows my Asus with an Intel 160GB SSD G73JH X25m Generation 2 and Windows 7 boot and shutdown a few times from Photoshop 7, when comes the desktop. Also shows a restart.
